RESEARCHERS
WINTech is led by Director Dr. Sayfe Kiaei. Dr. Kiaei has a proven track record in establishing successful research centers;
in 1994 he helped found and co-directed the Center for the Design of Analog-Digital Integrated circuits (CDADIC), an NSF I/UCRC,
at Washington State University. In addition to leading WINTech, Dr. Kiaei is currently the director of Connection One, another
NSF I/UCRC research center, at Arizona State University. Dr. Kiaei possesses strong industry ties and is active in several
professional organizations. His areas of specialization include RF IC design, mixed-signal IC design, and wireless and wireline
communication systems. He has published 64 conference papers and 22 journal papers and holds seven patents and disclosures.
